The summer officially begins Thursday, July 12. At least it does for me, because that’s when CBS’ annual voyeur-palooza, Big Brother, returns for its 14th season.

The competition featuring people locked in a house for the entire summer while their lives are filmed and streamed online 24/7 will continue its traditional three nights per week schedule. Live eviction episodes of Big Brother 14 will air Thursdays at 8pm. Additional episodes will air Sundays at 8pm (starting July 15) and Wednesdays at 9pm (starting July 18).

As always, fans who want even more will be able to purchase a live feed online to watch the houseguests whenever they want. And Showtime 2 will have Big Brother: After Dark, featuring three hours of live feed, real-time coverage every night.

CBS will be full of reality this summer. In addition to Big Brother 14 and the previously announced animal training show Dogs in the City (Wednesdays at 8pm starting May 30), the network will offer a new dating show, 3, starting Sunday, July 22 at 9pm.

3 follows three single woman of different ages and backgrounds as they meet up and search for love. If last summer’s Same Name was any indication, Big Brother 14 will inevitably have a tie-in with this new show in some way, shape or form.

If you want to be a part of Big Brother 14, casting is open until May 11. Click HERE for details.
