One of the most exciting things about working for BuddyTV is getting a chance to visit the sets of some of the best shows on television. In the past few months we’ve brought you news straight from the sets of Supernatural, Fringe, Heroes and Knight Rider. It’s amazing to see these shows being filmed, and watching the actors at work truly gives you an appreciation for the difficulty of their profession. Everything speeds by so smoothly when you watch it at home, but in reality there’s a massive amount of work put into each episode of any television series.
One show that’s experiencing some major changes this season is Smallville. To get fans pumped for the eighth year of the series, we’ll be making our first ever visit to the set next week. We’re going to have a chance to sit down and interview some of the cast members, but before we take off for Vancouver we need your questions for the actors. If you’ve ever wanted to ask someone from Smallville a question, here’s your chance!
We’ll be taking off for Vancouver early on Thursday morning, so please have all of your questions submitted by Wednesday, September 3. We know for certain that Sam Witwer (Doomsday) and Aaron Ashmore will be on set, and it’s likely Erica Durance and Cassidy Freeman (Tess Mercer) will be there as well. It’s possible we’ll get a chance to talk to some other actors, or maybe even one of the four new showrunners, so feel free to submit questions for them as well.
The interviews are sure to be a blast, but the thing I’m most looking forward to is seeing Smallville‘s amazing locations in person. If you had a chance to hang out on the set of the series, what would you most like to see? Would you like to pour yourself a brandy inside Lex’s mansion? Maybe have a seat on the couch of the Kent family home? Or how about claiming your own desk at the Daily Planet?
