Tonight is veto night and one of our old Big Brother friends is returning to participate.  That’s right: good ol’ Janelle Pierzina, from Big Brother 6 and Big Brother 7 is going to be involved somehow in tonight’s veto competition.  Might be fun, might be contrived, we’ll see.  Regardless, it’s a big night for Jessica and Jameka, the two contestants Zach put on the block.  Will either be able to save themselves?  Also, there’s a big decision on the horizon for Dick and Daniele if the nominations remain the same.  Will they honor their agreement with Eric and Jessica? Or, will they do the strategically intelligent thing and vote Jessica out?  Tough decisions.  I’ll be here throughout the episode, giving live updates during the hour.

Zach calls himself “the dream crusher”.  Jameka thinks that Zach has a deal with the Donatos.  Eric feels terrible about letting Jessica down.  Jameka really is pissed about Zach’s nomination speech.  I don’t understand that.  He’s got say something, right?  Zach’s speech was about as inoffensive as it could’ve been.

Dani takes great joy in Jessica being pissed.  Or that’s how it seems.

Man, Eric is really devastated.  He’s almost crying.  It’s like thew world just ended, the way he’s talking.  Now he’s almost tearing up in the Diary Room.  That has to be the toughest part of being on Big Brother: after making a bad decision you just have such an insane amount of time to stew over the decision.

Dick and Daniele have a little snit over dinner that’s not even worth discussing.  Oh, well, I guess Big Brother wants to spend a lot of time on it.  In this case, Daniele is acting like a child and Dick is in the right.  Dick talks to himself in the backyard, steaming.  I get it.

Here it goes, the big question of the week: Will the Donatos stick to their word and keep Jessica around?  Eric thinks they will, Jessica doesn’t.  Jessica seems to be kind of over the whole Eric thing.

Janelle enters the Big Brother house in the middle of the night.  The backyard is decked out in pink, perfect for Janelle.  In Daniele’s words, it looks like a pink bedroom.  There’s a big TV screen and Janelle’s face slowly comes into focus.  Right before she reveals herself, Eric talks some smack, saying that she looks like Ms. Piggy.  Needless to say, he’s very embarrassed when she shows up in the flesh.

Each contestant sits in the big pink chair and is spun around for awhile, inducing dizziness.  After spinning, they head to the TV screen (or “swirl-o-vision”) where two contestants memory wall pictures are segued together.  The contestants get 4 minutes to guess who’s in as many pictures as they can.

Daniele wins another competition, edging out Zach 7 to 6.

Everyone’s pissed at Daniele for winning the veto.  Tough luck.  Dani and Zach, on the other hand, are pumped.

Eric tries to convince Jess that Dani and Dick will vote out Jameka.  Jess is being pissy with Eric.  Not like her.

Dick loves Janelle, was enamored with her.  It’s a little creepy, but not all that much.   He can’t stop talking about her, though.  Dick believes that he and Janelle were flirting back and forth.  Riiiight.

Dick and Eric have a conversation where Eric puts on some mock confidence that Dick and Daniele will stay loyal.  Dick talks about it in the diary room, but he doesn’t commit either way.

Eric and Jess make out.  To be honest, I’m over it.

Eric gets his America’s Player task.  He has to mimic the actions and words of a houseguest chosen by America.  America chooses Dick, which should be fun.  Dick is just baffled by it.  The two have a fun time with it, Dick blowing snot rockets. He completes the task rather easily.

Dick and Daniele have a powwow outside about what to do with Daniele’s veto.  They still have no idea.  Daniele thinks that if they’re going to turn on Jess and Eric, they might as well do it soon.  If not this week, than not at all.

Daniele contemplates her options right before the veto ceremony begins.  She decides to not use the Power of Veto.  Probably the right decision.  Thursday will be an explosive episode with the double surprise eviction.
