It’s the last competition before the finale of Big Brother 19, part 2 of the Final HoH. The two HGs who failed to win part 1 faced off to determine who will battle the part 1 winner on the live finale. So which two HGs are going head-to-head?

SPOILER WARNING: This article contains Big Brother 19 spoilers.

Paul won part 1 of the Final HoH.

Josh won part 2 of the Final HoH.

Christmas was eligible to play once again, but the feeds were down for over six hours (twice as long as they were down for last year’s part 2). He only won by five minutes, so it was extremely close despite Christmas having a broken foot. It involved using a slingshot to answer questions about HGs by knocking down the wrong ones and It took both of them a very long time.

Why Winning Part 1 of the Final HoH Is Bad for Paul>>>

Now Paul and Josh will face off in part 3 on the finale, and things could get interesting. Paul has made it clear that he will take Josh to the Final 2 if he wins because he thinks he’ll lose to Christmas. Even though Josh originally decided he needed to cut Paul, in this final week Paul has been talking a lot about how Christmas would beat him, so now Josh is on the fence about who to take if he wins.

Josh’s dilemma could go three different ways. He could be like Steve, cutting Vanessa and winning the game. Or he could be like Ian, taking a returning player (Dan), but winning because of a bitter jury. Or he could be like Cody, taking Derrick a losing to him.

This is the eighth time that two men won parts 1 and 2 of the Final HoH. In the other seven times, here’s how it broke down:

-In 5 times, the part 1 winner also won the Final HoH, while only twice has the part 2 winner won it (those two were season 8’s Evel Dick Donato and season 14’s Ian Terry).

-In four times, the part 2 winner ended up winning the entire game. The other three times the part 1 winner won the game.

-In six times, the winners of parts 1 and 2 were both in the Final 2. The only exception is season 8, when Evel Dick took his daughter Daniele over the part 1 winner, Zach Swerdzewski.

The Big Brother 19 finale airs Wednesday at 8/7c on CBS.
