Big Brother 15 has been a season of centralized power. After five weeks, Andy, Judd, and McCrae remain the only HGs who have never been nominated, while Amanda and GinaMarie have only been nominated by America’s MVP vote. So who are the week 6 nominees?

'Big Brother 15' Spoilers: Who Are the Week 6 Nominees?

SPOILER WARNING: This article contains Big Brother 15 spoilers.

GinaMarie is the HoH. She nominated Candice and Jessie.

Well, this is deja vu all over again since, way back in week 1, McCrae nominated these same two ladies for eviction. Despite the fact that four of the five evicted HGs are guys, this marks the fifth time the HoH has nominated two women (Helen and Judd both nominated Aaryn and Kaitlin while Aaryn nominated Helen and Elissa her first time around).

It seems the nomination ceremony was also exactly what you’d expect from the ridiculous GM, calling Candice a tattletale rat and Jessie a flip-flopper. Most of the other HGs are laughing about it and said they even cracked up during the ceremony. GM is one of those people who thinks everyone is laughing WITH her when in reality they’re laughing AT her.

GinaMarie’s target is clearly Candice, and that’s exactly what she’s telling everyone she wants them to do. Subtlety is not in her vocabulary. But there has been talk of a plot to evict Jessie instead since she’s become a massive target after her epic fight with Amanda over the failed and short-lived attempt to save Howard last week.

Now there seems to be a bit of controversy brewing. GinaMarie and Aaryn want Candice gone and everyone is telling them they will vote that way. But secretly, Amanda, McCrae, Andy, and others are thinking about taking out Jessie instead. That wouldn’t make Aaryn and GM very happy, since they thought proving their loyalty last week would at least earn them enough respect to get rid of who they want.

Sadly, the drama of which outcast female will be evicted isn’t all that tense. Either Jessie gets blindsided, infuriating Aaryn and GM, or Candice follows Howard out the door the same way Kaitlin followed Jeremy. While I don’t think the hatred and animosity against Candice is fueled by race, it’s an ugly and disturbing fact that the two women who lost their jobs due to racist remarks have won back-to-back HoHs and could send the two black HGs home in consecutive weeks.

We still have the MVP nomination to shake things up, but I doubt it will cause much damage. Odds are good that Aaryn or Amanda will go up, creating mass hysteria yet again. The HGs still don’t know that America is voting for the MVP nominee, and there are a ton of theories floating around the house. Maybe it was Howard. Or Elissa. Or Judd. Or America. Or the last evicted HG. The fact that Elissa, GinaMarie, and Amanda have all gone up has certainly confused them.

But at the same time, the change to the twist has proven to be a total dud. Yes, it causes scrambling and paranoia, but it doesn’t change the game. America’s MVP nominees for the past two weeks have received zero votes for eviction. On Thursday Aaryn and Amanda were talking about the MVP nominee, and they basically agreed that it doesn’t matter who it is because they’ll have the votes anyway. The next day Helen and Andy had the same conversation. It’s become like the Saboteur, a twist that is mildly annoying to the HGs but has no actual bearing on the evictions. The only way it might affect the game is if they gave America the Coup d’Etat, letting us pick all of the nominees. But that’s insanely stupid.

What do you think of GinaMarie’s nominations? Does Candice have a shot at staying? Will Jessie get scapegoated instead? Or do you believe in the 0.0001 percent chance that someone else could be evicted?
