Get ready to gear up for the largest multi-genre convention in South Florida History as Florida Supercon takes on a new “super-sized” location at the Hyatt Regency Bonaventure Resort in Weston, Florida.  The new place is over 60,000 square feet, which is three times the size of Florida Supercon’s last location.

The much-awaited convention for comic book, anime, science fiction and manga fans will take place on May 23 to 25 and will feature many celebrity and industry guests, one of which is Grey Delisle, who is popularly known for providing the voice of Princess Azula on Nickelodeon’s Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Tagged as a “Super Voice Actress,” Delisle presently provides the voice of lead characters in at least six animated series.  In addition to the gifted Firebender and highly favored crown princess of the Fire Nation on Avatar: The Last Airbender, she is recognized for her roles in Fairly Oddparents and What’s New, Scooby-Doo? as well as Clifford the Big Red Dog.  She also speaks Japanese as the character Yumi on Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi and voices the Dark Jedi, Asajj Ventress, in Star Wars: Clone Wars, just to name a few.

The Avatar voice actress will be participating in the Supercon, along with Harry Potter stars, Stanislav Ianevski (Viktor Krum), and James (Fred Weasly) and Oliver Phelps (George Weasly). Renowned comic book writer Dan Slott, whose credits include She Hulk, Avengers: The Initiative, Ren & Stimpy, and The Amazing Spider-Man, is also set to make an appearance.

Apart from the guests, the convention will also include a lot of Q&A segments, parties, costume contests, anime programming, cosplay, workshops, panels, and photo shoots, among others.

The convention hours of operation are as follows:
Friday, May 23 at 5pm – 2am
Saturday, May 24 at 11am – 2am
Sunday, May 25 11am – 6pm
