'Apartment 23' Casts Busy Philipps for 'Dawson's' Reunion, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Frankie MunizThe feeling of nostalgia is more often than not a very good feeling, right? This fall, it’s exactly what we can expect from the season 2 premiere of Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23. For one, former Dawson’s Creek actress Busy Philipps could spark what could be this year’s much-awaited reunion. For another, Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Frankie Muniz, teen stars from the early 90s and 00s respectively, will definitely bring back memories from the past.

According to TV Guide, Apartment 23’s season 2 will see James Van Der Beek try to bring back his Dawson’s Creek co-stars together. “We have a big season premiere episode that’s dealing with James potentially trying to do a Dawsons’s reunion and his version of what that would look like,” reveals series creator Nahnatchka Khan.

As it looks, kicking off the said reunion obviously isn’t a hard task for Van Der Beek. Cougar Town’s Busy Philipps will be playing herself as Van Der Beek’s friend and co-star back from the popular 90s teen drama, where she played the role of Audrey Liddell, the eventual love interest of Joshua Jackson’s character.

As James Van Der Beek tries to pull off the grand reunion, he will bump into Saved By the Bell’s Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Malcolm in the Middle’s Frankie Muniz, who both had lead roles in their past TV shows. Gosselaar and Muniz will also portray themselves on the show according to EW.

Will James Van Der Beek be able to achieve his goal of successfully staging the Dawson’s Creek reunion? What will Gosselaar and Muniz’s roles be?
