American actress Jennifer Lawrence was born on August 15, 1990 in Louisville, Kentucky. She began her acting career in 2006, appearing in the dramatic television movie Company Town. She also played the occasional guest role, appearing in Monk, Cold Case and Medium. She’s also appeared in several films, most notably the 2008 dramatic release The Poker House, which earned her an acting citation from that year’s Los Angeles Film Festival.
Lawrence’s first regular television role came in 2007, when she signed up for a role in the comedy The Bill Engvall Show. The series circulates around family counselor Bill Pearson (Bill Engvall) who deals with his own family’s quirks and oddities. She played the role of Lauren Pearson, the eldest child and only daughter of the family. A typical high schooler, she tries to find her way through studies and dating. As the eldest, she leads her brothers (Graham Patrick Martin and Skyler Gisondo) in scheming and planning odd plots.
