Joey Fatone, who currently serves as the host of the NBC game show, The Singing Bee, is deeply worried about old pal Britney Spears. After seeing her much-talked about performance at the MTV Video Music Awards on September 9 in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Palms Hotel and Casino, the former 'N Sync member now wants the 25-year-old pop singer to seek serious help.
Spears' opening act for the MTV event was considered as her “comeback” performance following a series of recent personal struggles that has temporarily put a pause to her music career. She appeared in black sequined bikini and knee-high stiletto boots, and performed "Gimme More," a lead single off her upcoming album. Unfortunately, her act was given harsh and very unfavorable reviews as many criticized Spears to have forgotten the lyrics and dance moves to her performance, which made her “seemingly disoriented and lacking of energy.”
