The CW announced its fall schedule today and it features all good-looking people. I suppose one could make the argument that all television features good-looking people, but not to the extreme extent that the CW has taken it. You see, most of the CW's Fall schedule not only features good-looking people, the series themselves are about those people being good-looking, or at least it's a very important part of the series. There are three hours of new programming on the CW's Fall schedule, one of which may include the most highly-anticipated new series going into next season.
Before any Reaper fans go ballistic and worry about why the series isn't on the Fall schedule, don't worry. The CW has ordered 13 episodes of Reaper, which will hit the air at mid-season. There's a very good chance that it will take over Smallville's time slot at some point, but nothing is set in stone.

Previously on Smallville: If Clark Kent never came to Earth, his dad and Sheriff Adams would still be alive, Chloe would be engaged, Lana would be married with kids in France and Lois would be editor-in-chief of the Daily Planet. Yet somehow we were supposed to think Clark being on Earth is a good thing.
Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) has his newfound Krypto-Graph studied by an antiquities expert (played by Donnelly Rhodes, Doc Cottle from Battlestar Galactica!) who doesn't know what it is. Once he's alone, Lex angrily stares at the fire when the Zurich “bank manager” rushes in and knocks Lex out. He then carves a Kryptonian symbol into Lex's chest.

If Smallville's upcoming eighth season experiences any more shake-ups, it's possible the show may become completely unrecognizable. As we've previously reported, creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar are leaving at the end of the current season, and actors Michael Rosenbaum and Kristin Kreuk will not appear full-time next year. Allison Mack's contract is also up at the end of season 7, but until today it was thought that she was a lock to sign up for Smallville's eighth year. Now, according to TV Guide's Michael Ausiello, Mack's participation in the next season of Smallville may not be a sure thing. Could the series survive without Chloe Sullivan?
