After 19 seasons of Big Brother, we look back at the show’s history to see the most winning houseguests ever, based solely on number of combined Head of Household and Power of Veto competition victories.

#27 Crazy James Zinkand

HoH Wins: 1.5
PoV Wins: 3
Total Wins: 4.5

His half a win came in the early weeks of the couples’ season when he won HoH with his partner, Chelsia. Then Crazy James got evicted, got voted back in, and won another HoH and three PoVs in a row. But that impressive run still ended with him getting evicted in sixth place.

#26 Ryan Quicksall

HoH Wins: 3
PoV Wins: 2
Total Wins: 5

Once the individual portion of season 9 began, Ryan was on fire, even winning the last three competitions in a row. Yet he still lost at the end to Adam Jasinski.

#25 Mike “Boogie” Malin

HoH Wins: 4
PoV Wins: 1
Total Wins: 5

In season 2 Mike Boogie was evicted in eighth place after winning one HoH (there were no PoV competitions until season 3). When he returned for All-Stars he won the whole game thanks to three HoH wins, one PoV win and a solid alliance with Dr. Will Kirby.

#24 Drew Daniel

HoH Wins: 4
PoV Wins: 1
Total Wins: 5

In season 5, Drew won the game with four HoH wins, one PoV win and a solid four-man alliance called the Four Horseman. He was also NEVER in danger of being evicted, only getting nominated one time (though he was saved by use of the PoV). He shares the record for most times as HoH in a single season with three other players.

#23 Hayden Moss

HoH Wins: 4
PoV Wins: 1
Total Wins: 5

In season 12, Hayden’s victory was identical to Drew’s, with four HoH wins, one PoV win and a four-man alliance called the Brigade.

#22 Aaryn Gries

HoH Wins: 4
PoV Wins: 1
Total Wins: 5
Aaryn was a controversial figure on SEASON 15 for her comments, but she also dominated competitions, winning four HoHs faster than anyone in the history of the game. But all of those wins got her an early exit, being evicted in eighth place, which is the worst finish for anyone with three or more HoH wins.

Aaryn Gries

#21 McCrae Olson

HoH Wins: 2
PoV Wins: 3
Total Wins: 5
McCrae took an unusual path to win five competitions in season 15. He won the first two challenges, then he won nothing for the next 19 comps. Once he was down to the Top 7, he turned it on again and won another HoH and two more PoVs to make it to fourth place.

McCrae Olson

#20 Andy Herren

HoH Wins: 3
PoV Wins: 2
Total Wins: 5
In season 15, Andy became the first openly gay HG to win four competitions in a single, and he went one step further by winning a fifth and the entire game. He had two amazing weeks, winning HoH and PoV in the same week twice before winning the last HoH.

Andy Herren

#19 Paulie Calafiore

HoH Wins: 2
PoV Wins: 3
Total Wins: 5
Just like his brother Cody, Paulie proved to be a strong competitor, but his social game was severely lacking as the house turned against him. It makes him and season 15’s Aaryn Gries tied for having the worst finish despite winning five or more competitions.

#18 James Huling

HoH Wins: 3
PoV Wins: 2
Total Wins: 5
The Fan Favorite was also a competition beast, winning two grueling endurance HoHs and a pair of useful PoVs, one to keep his nominations the same and the other to save himself. When he returned the next year he was less impressive, but did add a third endurance HoH to his collection.

#17 Corey Brooks

HoH Wins: 2
PoV Wins: 3
Total Wins: 5
He wasn’t very interesting, but Nicole’s showmance did prove to be quite good at the competitions, even winning HoH and PoV during the double eviction.

#16 James Rhine

HoH Wins: 1
PoV Wins: 5
Total Wins: 6

Over the course of seasons 6 and 7, James racked up an impressive five PoVs (including four in season 6), but he was still evicted in seventh place both times.

#15 Jeff Schroeder

HoH Wins: 2
PoV Wins: 4
Total Wins: 6

Both times he played (seasons 11 and 13), Jeff managed to win one HoH and two PoVs, and he won America’s Favorite both years as well. However, he still finished 5th in season 11 and 7th in season 13, getting bested by his girlfriend Jordan both times.

#14 Frank Eudy

HoH Wins: 3
PoV Wins: 3
Total Wins: 6

Frank was a dominant competitor, picking up three HoHs and three PoVs, but he was also nominated more than anyone else and only made it to seventh place.

#13 Shane Meaney

HoH Wins: 2
PoV Wins: 4
Total Wins: 6

In season 14 Shane was one of those big, strong guys who can win a ton of PoV competitions. He got four PoVs (the most by a single player since season 8). He also won two HoHs. But being one of the three guys his season to win six comps wasn’t enough to save him from Dan Gheesling’s treachery.

#12 Ian Terry

HoH Wins: 4
PoV Wins: 2
Total Wins: 6

Ian won season 14 by dominating the endgame. He won the last four HoH competitions he was eligible to compete in and, in two of alternate weeks, he won the PoV (including one special Veto Ball courtesy of Pandora’s Box).

#11 Cody Calafiore

HoH Wins: 3
PoV Wins: 3
Total Wins: 6
In season 16, Cody was the runner-up to Derrick despite being far more dominant in competitions with three of each. It was the first time since season 9 the person in the Final 2 with the most competition victories didn’t win the game.

#10 Steve Moses

HoH Wins: 4
PoV Wins: 2
Total Wins: 6
Steve won the game by winning when he needed to, winning the PoV the first two times he was on the block and winning his last three HoH competitions of the season. And he won the exact same number of HoH and PoV competitions as his season 14 doppelganger, Ian Terry.

#9 Brendon Villegas

HoH Wins: 1
PoV Wins: 5.5
Total Wins: 6.5

Brendon won a PoV with his partner, Rachel Reilly, during season 13. Like Jeff, his impressive wins didn’t come with good finishes as he was evicted in 6th and 9th place during his two seasons. However, across both seasons, he has the second-highest number of PoV competition wins, behind Janelle Pierzina.

#8 Dan Gheesling

HoH Wins: 4
PoV Wins: 3
Total Wins: 7

Dan won season 10 by playing possum and not winning anything for the first five weeks, then dominating the endgame with his partner, Memphis. When he came back for season 14 as a coach and player he started off slow again, but then added one HoH and one PoV to his total.

#7 Vanessa Rousso

HoH Wins: 4
PoV Wins: 3
Total Wins: 7
Vanessa was yet another dominant female competitor. If you don’t count Frankie Grande’s two dethroned HoH wins, then Vanessa, season 7’s Janelle Pierzina and season 8’s Daniele Donato are the three players with the most single-season competition wins ever. It’s a shame none of them actually won the game.

#6 Nicole Franzel

HoH Wins: 5
PoV Wins: 2
Total Wins: 7
In season 16 she managed to win three HoHs, but got dethroned twice. When she returned in season 18 she did much better, picking up two more HoHs and two PoVs on her way to winning the game.

#5 Rachel Reilly

HoH Wins: 6
PoV Wins: 1.5
Total Wins: 7.5

Rachel is officially the HoH Queen with six wins over two seasons, including four in season 13 which she won. That’s more solo HoH victories than anyone.

#4 Frankie Grande

HoH Wins: 5
PoV Wins: 3
Total Wins: 8

The double HoH twist of season 16 allowed Frankie to win more HoHs in a single season than anyone ever, though he was dethroned twice.

Frankie Grande

#3 Daniele Donato

HoH Wins: 4
PoV Wins: 5
Total Wins: 9

Daniele won two HoH competitions when she competed in season 13, but her truly impressive feat came in season 8 when she won two HoHs and five PoVs. That tied Janelle Pierzina’s single season PoV record.

#2 Janelle Pierzina

HoH Wins: 5.5
PoV Wins: 7
Total Wins: 12.5

Yes, Janelle finished third both times she played the game (seasons 6 and 7), but there’s a good reason she’s still remembered as one of the greatest players ever. In season 6 she won two HoHs and two PoVs, but during the All-Stars season she owned the house from day one. She was co-HoH with Jase for the first week and won it by herself three more times while also winning five PoVs. Her 8.5 wins in one season is the all-time record that will most likely never be beaten and, during the 12 game weeks, she won either HoH or PoV for nine of them.

#1 Paul Abrahamian

HoH Wins: 6
PoV Wins: 8
Total Wins: 14

Paul finished in second place in back-to-back seasons, but he became the biggest winner when it comes to competitions. He picked up 3 HoHs and 3 PoVs in season 18, then added another 3 HoHs and 5 PoVs in season 19. But just like Janelle, his competition prowess led to the same result twice.
