Scott Michael Foster is an American actor born on March 4, 1985 in Winfield, Illinois at Central Dupage Hospital. Later on, he moved to Texas as a young man and grew up in Flower Mound, outside of Dallas. While still in elementary school, he became interested in acting. He has attended Briarhill Middle School and Edward S. Marcus High School, where he became active in the school’s theatre productions until he graduated in 2003. He attended Collin County Community College in Texas for one semester, taking up the Quad C Theater program. Soon, he left his studies to pursue a professional career in the field of acting.
Appearing in several commercials and independent movies, Scott Michael Foster was cast in 2005’s The Horrible Flowers. He followed this up with a performance in 2007’s Teenage Dirtbag. That year, he landed parts on series like The Game and Women’s Murder Club. He later got a role in three episodes of the show Quarterlife, portraying the character Jed.
Scott Michael Foster joined the cast of the ABC Family college-based series Greek, portraying the character Cappie. His role is that of a wild student, the president of the Kappa Tau Gamma society with a fearless disposition and little concern for the future. Foster has also been known to relate well with his character, despite not belonging to a fraternity himself.
In addition to acting, he has also dabbled in the music industry. Scott Michael Foster is the lead singer in the indie rock band Siren’s Eye. In line with this, he said in an interview, “We do anything from AC/DC type music, to new rock, like Radio Head. All the members of the band like different types of music and that’s what helps influence our sound. Yes, we cover a lot of genres.” Some of his musical influences include The Strokes, Muse, Radiohead, and the Raconteurs.
