All eyes are on Meredith and Derek as they continue to prepare for their looming wedding.  But that’s not all that’s worth looking into, especially as Grey’s Anatomy concludes its fifth season with a two-hour finale slated to air on May 14.  According to Entertainment Weekly’s Michael Ausiello, series creator Shonda Rhimes has tapped Debra Mooney and Liza Weil for the highly anticipated season ender.

Mooney, known for her role on Everwood, most recently appeared on Eleventh Hour, ER, Cold Case, and Pushing Daisies.  On the other hand, Weil is credited for her role as Paris Geller on Gilmore Girls, as well as her roles on The West Wing, The Adventures of Pete & Pete, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and ER.  Weil also has ties to Rhimes' other show, Private Practice given that her real-life husband is cast member Paul Adelstein.

College admissions time—it's a stressful time for any high school senior. It's also a time when you're forced to make choices that will change the course of your entire life. On last night's episode, “You've Got Yale,” Blair, Serena and Dan all grapple with big anxieties about the changes that go along with college: Blair's got a case of Senioritis (and a tad of an entitlement issue) that threaten her dead-set hopes on Yale, Serena tries to decide which Ivy is the best fit for her, and she and Dan both worry about how choosing different colleges will affect—or possibly end—their relationship.

Lauren Graham is on her way back to primetime TV. The Gilmore Girls actress has signed a deal with ABC to star in and produce a new half-hour comedy from Will & Grace writer Alex Herschlag.  According to Variety, Graham will be playing a a self-help guru who teaches women how to live a stress-free life, but struggles to follow her own advice when her boyfriend dumps her.

ABC has already given a production commitment to the new comedy with Mitch Hurwitz (Arrested Development), Kim Tannenbaum and Eric Tannenbaum (Two and a Half Men) as producers. Graham will serve as producer on the project as well.

Taylor Doose's devotion to the rule of law is what makes him both a great and terrible politician.
