As reported just last week, more changes await the eighth season of
Scrubs, which will be airing in its new home ABC. The new season, which serves as a midseason replacement, will reportedly have three new interns to torture for Dr. Cox. You can read more about them
in this article. But apart from the recruits of Sacred Heart hospital, there are a few more huge names to watch out for.
Warning: Massive spoilers ahead.

Thanks to Zap2it.com, we now know that
Scrubs is definitely looking to kick the new season off with major stars. John Cusack and
Jennifer Garner are reportedly being considered to replace Kelso as Chief of Medicine for the eighth season's first three episodes. Cusack is credited for such films like
Say Something, High Fidelity, and
Serendipity, just to name a few, while Garner is popularly known for her lead role on the spy series
Alias. Of course, nothing has been decided as of this moment.
To ease the wait (or to add more agony) for the new episodes, here's another spoiler that has surfaced the internet and it definitely involves wedding bells. Zap2it.com also reports that a main character of
Scrubs, who has been part of the series since the first season, will be walking down the aisle when the series returns for season 8. In fact, the wedding will be a huge deal as “most of he Sacred Heart staff will journey to the Bahamas to witness the exchanging of vows.”
Can you guess who's going to say “I do” when
Scrubs returns for a new season?
Scrubs stars
Donald Faison as Chris Turk,
John C. McGinley as Perry Cox,
Judy Reyes as Carla Espinosa,
Ken Jenkins as Bob Kelso,
Neil Flynn as The Janitor,
Sarah Chalke as Elliot Reid, and
Zach Braff as John "J.D." Dorian.
What are you most excited to see?
