Following yesterday's news that the CW ordered full seasons for all three of its new dramas, ABC has picked up its two new Wednesday night shows, Revenge and Suburgatory, for full seasons.

Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.

Revenge, the wonderfully soap drama starring Emily Vancamp as a woman getting even with the people who destroyed her father, has done surprisingly well in the ratings given its stiff competition of aging favorites CSI and Law and Order: SVU. The full season order is also good because it means viewers don't have to worry about not getting answers to the bigger mysteries.

Suburgatory has also been a solid ratings performer with the Wednesday night comedies. The recent third episode had 8.74 million viewers, which is about 2.5 million more than Better With You had in the same time slot one year ago.

The pick-ups continue the trend of strong, female-based comedies and dramas ruling TV this season. Suburgatory is the fifth half-hour comedy to get a full season, along with New Girl, 2 Broke Girls, Whitney and Up All Night, all of which have female leads and were created or co-created by women.

For ABC, this leaves Pan Am and Charlie's Angels on the cupping block. Given the declining ratings for both, it seems likely that they will not make it. On the other hand, the success of Last Man Standing's premiere should help make it the sixth new sitcom of the season to get a full season.
