Born in Cooper City, Florida, Chelsea Korka was previously an overweight child who was exposed to comic books, skateboarding and video games. Later, she worked as a waitress, singer and dancer in her hometown. She eventually came out of her shell and penetrated the world of pageantry. She won the title of Miss West Broward USA 2007 and participated in the Miss Florida USA 2007 competition.
Korka auditioned for and made it to the final round on the reality competition
Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll. Even though she did not have any formal dance training prior to her inclusion on the contest, she amazed the judges with her ability to quickly learn choreography. In addition, she has a very distinct singing voice, which makes her an irresistible performer.
