Tomorrow, the much-awaited season 3 of
Avatar: The Last Airbender is set to air on Nickelodeon. For now, fans can grab a copy of the
All-Avatar Magazine, which is now available for grabs in newsstands.
The
All-Avatar Magazine includes over 30 pages of all-new comics, featuring the adventures that take place between seasons 2 and 3 of the highly acclaimed Nickelodeon animated series.
Collaborated by the show's writers and artists, along with acclaimed comic artists like Amy Kim Ganter (
Sorcerers and Secretaries), Reagan Lodge (
Flight), Bryan Ralph (
Cave In, Daybreak), and Johane Matte (T
een Titans Go!, Flight), the
Avatar magazine serves as a bridge between the seasons. It also explores major plot jumps and some spoilers for the upcoming season 3. This is a treat for Avatar fanatics since season 2 significantly altered the fates of several main characters of the show.
Moreover, it also includes a section dedicated to Avatar fan art. The three-page segment profiles various artists, whose works are popularly recognized on DeviantArt.
Although released on September 18, the
All-Avatar Magazine does not replace the September or October issue since it is not a regular edition of Nick Mag and is a separate part of the Nick Mag Presents series.
In addition to the
All-Avatar Magazine, fans can also catch the season 3 trailer released by Nickelodeon and some tidbits on the episode “The Awakening,” which has been made available via Nick's cell phone distribution service
