Max Brown was known as Kristian Hargreaves, a character he portrayed on the soap Hollyoaks from 2002 to 2004.  He depicted an intelligent and charming student who studied molecular biology at Hollyoaks Community College.  Upon his arrival on campus, he caught the attention of Izzy Cornwell, Becca Hayton, Lisa Hunter and Jodie Nash.  Although many women were attracted to him, he failed to prolong his relationships, which sparked his reputation as a womanizer.  He finally got a taste of his own medicine when he dated Stacey Foxx, who was always on his case and had an annoying laugh.  His irritation eventually led him to transfer to another university, thus putting an end to his character’s storyline.  Later this year, the 26-year-old actor will be gracing the big screen with two new thriller films.

In the movie Act of God, the former Hollyoaks actor will be featured as one of the lead stars of the drama. He plays Richard Short, alongside David Suchet who plays Benjamin Cisco.  Directed by Sean Faughnan and Ezna Sands, the film is pending for release in the coming months.

Moreover, he also stars in the crime-thriller Daylight Robbery.  The film is about a group of England football supporters as the pull off the perfect crime, stealing millions of pounds from a London Exchange bank by using the World Cup as their cover.  The cast also includes Paul Nicholls, Leo Gregory, and Geoff Bell.

Aside from Hollyoaks, Max Brown was also known for his role in the movie Turistas as Liam Kuller and the television series Mistresses as Sam. His exposure from the soap opera also led to a string of television guest roles on Down to Earth, Doctors, and Heartbeat.
