Tiffany Pollard became a notorious reality TV icon as a contestant on VH1’s Flavor of Love’s first season. She was given the nickname “New York” by rap artist Flavor Flav, which made her standout as contestant who clashed with virtually everyone on the program. With a couple of feuds here and there, some screaming matches and a few incidents of violence, she immediately caught the eye of the Flavor Flav and TV viewers everywhere. Although romance sparked between New York and Flavor Flav, Flavor Flav chose Nicole “Hoopz” Alexander instead at the end of the season. And after things did not work out between Flavor Flav and Hoopz, Flavor Flav invited New York to participate in the second season of his reality dating show. Unfortunately, she failed to win his heart over the second time.  This time losing out to Chandra “Deelishis” Davis.

Despite two failed attempts to find love, New York decided to star in her own reality dating show called I Love New York. With the same concept of Flavor of Love, she came across twenty men who vied for her heart. In the end, she chose Patrick “Tango” Hunter over Kamal “Chance” Givens. Subsequently, New York got engaged to Tango, who eventually called off the engagement. Apart from her own show, she recently guest starred on shows like The Tyra Banks Show, and Flavor of Love Girls: Charm School.

At present, she serves as a judge on MTV’s Say What? Karaoke 2.0. Still determined to find her match, New York is also busy with casting calls for the second season of I Love New York.
