Stitchers returns for its third season, picking up right after the season 2 finale that saw Kirsten (Emma Ishta) trapped in her own stitch memory as she attempts to find her mother while her life hangs in the balance. Cameron (Kyle Harris), on the other hand, stood by her side and was trying everything to bring her back.

Staying true to his word, Cameron hasn’t left Kirsten’s side in the season 3 premiere entitled “Out of the Shadows.” The team is still working on bringing her back and while it’s safe to say that Kirsten will be able to bounce back to reality, it looks like the new season will also put some strain in Cameron and Kirsten’s relationship.

The promo for the new season teases a sweet scene between Kirsten and Cameron before Kirsten tells Cameron that she saw her father kill Cameron’s son — a revelation that will no doubt affect their budding romance. There’s also some girl on girl action, a major sacrifice and one crazy discovery: Kirsten’s mother is still alive!

In another teaser for the premiere, Linus attempts to plead his case to Maggie. He says he’s going crazy and he thinks something’s “not right” with his father but Maggie just points out the parent-child bond is like an entanglement. Seemingly hit with an idea, Linus then tells Maggie to send everyone to the conference room.
