How many Teen Choice surfboards for Twilight again?  Eleven?  Two Choice Movie wins, five movie acting wins, Choice Liplock, Choice Rumble, and the soundtrack?  Okay, that was expected.

Since a lot’s been going on, and since I can’t be bothered (honestly, but at the moment, at least) talking about the authors who claim Stephenie Meyer ripped off their stories, here’s a roundup about Ashley Greene’s nude pics and what Catherine Hardwicke said about the suddenly quiet bit about Bryce Dallas Howard replacing Rachelle Lefevre.

Item one: The lawyers want to sue.  If you were paying enough attention, you must’ve seen Ashley Greene’s nude photos break out of gossip sites and go, well, everywhere else.  I’ve had a chance to see them, and I wondered how the heck Perez Hilton thinks it’s been edited with Photoshop, because it obviously isn’t.  But no, I won’t tell you where they are.  There’s always Google for that.  Or sheer ingenuity.

Anyway, the actress’ lawyers are now on the prawl, asking site owners to take down photos.  (Perez Hilton took it down, but I still saw the photos elsewhere.  I told you, sheer ingenuity.)  And her representative released a statement to MTV News: “The photos in question, which appear to be of our client, are illegal and are being unlawfully displayed.  Our client intends to take legal action.”

Well, you know the answer to that: if you don’t want nude pics of you going around the interwebs, don’t upload your nude pics, or better yet, don’t take them.  Don’t follow the way of the Hudgens.  Then again, Ashley, it seems you already have.  Just don’t do it again, Ash; otherwise it really is the way of the Hudgens.

Item two: Was Bryce really the first?  Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke had a pretty interesting tidbit at the red carpet of the Teen Choice Awards last Sunday, and it gives the “was Rachelle Lefevre fired?” story an extra dimension.

“We originally asked Bryce Dallas Howard to do the first movie, but she thought it was too small a part at that time,” she told The Dish Rag.

As fate would have it, she now has the role in third film Eclipse, just when Victoria gets a really bigger part.  At least, from what I’ve gathered.

Well, of course Hardwicke’s feeling bad about the mess with Rachelle getting tossed because of that ten-day overlap or all the other conspiracy theories or something, so she ended up wishing that there’d be a way to put both actresses together.  But of course, she knows it’s wishful thinking.  I don’t think Stephenie’d put in an alien-whatever storyline to the books like she suggested.  Maybe she’d be called out for ripping off someone if that happened.

Oh, and feels slightly guilty about the way she somehow threw Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart into the limelight.  “I mean, part of me feels kind of guilty because they are both such indie spirits,” she said.  “They are really artists, they like making meaningful art, interesting art.”  And that, my dear, makes sense to me.
