Now that The Bachelor: An Officer and a Gentleman is down to just three bachelorettes, Bevin Powers, Tessa Horst, and Danielle Imwalle, tabloid newspapers and spoiler websites are reporting that one of the remaining women has let slip that she’s the winner of the show and received not only the final rose but a marriage proposal from Andy Baldwin.

Want to know who it was? Read on!
According to the rather dubious sources, it’s Tessa.

A New York Post “Page Six” article claims that bachelorette Tessa Horst “had a few drinks the other night and spilled the beans to a Page Six spy,” saying that she received the final rose on this season of The Bachelor.

The Post article also claims that Andy proposed in the final episode (as Andy and reps from the show have been saying for some time) but that she turned down his marriage proposal, although they were “still very much together.”

Andy Baldwin hasn’t let anything slip; he’s been to several triathlons since filming of the show finished, and locals who talked with him report that he didn’t tell them anything about the outcome of the show.

Tessa, a 26-year-old social worker who lives in San Francisco, has been rather hesitant with her affections so far, but Andy seems to feel that she’s warmed up to him, and obviously feels something for her, or he would have sent her home some time ago.

Nothing’s for certain until we see the finale of The Bachelor: An Officer and a Gentleman. At the moment, the other two bachelorettes (Bevin Powers, a 28-year-old clinic research coordinator who lives in Palo Alto, California, and Danielle Imwalle, a 25-year-old graphic designer from Connecticut) are still in the running.

What do you think? Do you think Tessa’s the winner? Do you think it seems plausible that she’d let this information out? Or is it all just a red herring, throwing us off when it’s really someone else?
