Rumor has it that the production staff of Lost launched a deliberate campaign to put false information out on the internet about the upcoming third season. Gregg Nations, script supervisor for Lost, hinted in the first week of September that all the spoilers known by fans so far were actually based on false information that was put out in casting breakdowns. We might never know whether this operation in misdirection was actually necessary to plug a leak from within the team, as Nations claims, or was simply done to confuse those spoiler-addicted fans who were certain they already knew what was planned for the first episodes of the season. In the end, until Lost Season 3 premieres on October 4 and the actual storyline is revealed, nothing is certain. – Mel Harris
