Though Ramona Singer remains optimistic about finding love again following her split with husband Mario Singer, she’s not taking dating lightly. The Real Housewives of New York City star is being picky with her options and already has an idea of what she wants and doesn’t want in a man.

“If on the first date, if he doesn’t help me with my coat, then I don’t want to be with him,” Singer told People. “I like a man who is attentive from the very beginning. If he’s not, then you don’t want him.”

Singer filed for divorce from her husband after 20 years of marriage. Last August she broke her silence about her marriage in her Bravo blog, confirming Mario’s rumored infidelity and how she felt “emotionally bruised” by his betrayal. Now she’s single and ready to mingle.

“I really like to be set up,” she revealed. “It’s nicer because the person setting us up knows me and them.”

However, Singer admits that she doesn’t immediately open up about being a reality TV star.  “I don’t want them to have any kind of pre-judged opinion of me,” she explained. “I’m proud of what I do but I don’t want to be judged for what I do because it can be taken out of context.”

According to Singer, her ideal first date consists of a great bottle of wine and great conversation. “Maybe go somewhere else later for a drink and then the next day they send you flowers,” she said.
