Earlier this month, rumors were circulating that Dina Manzo would be returning to The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Now she has confirmed via Twitter that the rumors are true.

“Well I guess the (hairless) cats out of the bag,” Dina tweeted. “Yes I’m back, Unlike the past this time it felt ‘right’ … See you on Bravo my friends.”

Dina was one of the original cast members of the show and left in season 2 after an altercation with Danielle Staub.

Dina has also had a long-standing feud with her sister, and fellow cast member, Caroline Manzo. The two haven’t spoken for years and there was some speculation that Dina would only come back to the show once Caroline left. And now that Caroline is doing her Bravo spin-off, Manzo’d with Children, it was the perfect opportunity for Dina to return.

Although there has yet to be any official word from Bravo, Dina’s sister-in-law, Jacqueline Laurita, confirms that Dina will be included in the cast shake-up for season 6.

“There’s two twin Italian girls, Teresa and Nicole, and then a girl named Amber,” Laurita told Us Weekly. “And I think that my sister-in-law Dina is coming back.”

Jacqueline is referring to rumored cast members Nicole and Teresa Napolitano and Amber Marchese. But that would mean four new housewives with only one known exit (Caroline). As to who else will get the ax, it remains to be seen.

Jacqueline also talked about why Dina wanted to wait until Caroline had left to join the cast again, even though her answer doesn’t make much sense, considering that she and her husband are family. Could this be a hint that Jacqueline’s not returning either?

“Well, she doesn’t really want to do the show with family because it brings unnecessary drama and causes problems,” she said. “I understand why she doesn’t want to do a show with family. I totally get it.”
