Dancing with the Stars returns to one night per week next Monday, which means this is our last Tuesday night padded results show until the finale. The Top 12 couples performed to their favorite songs on My Jam Monday, but now it’s time for one of them to be eliminated.

I predict Michael Waltrip will go after being at the bottom of the leaderboard with a creepy and misogynistic performance that forced his partner Emma Slater into a bikini. She’s better than that. But with four other stars at 28 points, it could come down to anyone.

THE LEADERBOARD

35: Lea Thompson
34: Janel Parrish
33: Bethany Mota
32: Alfonso Ribeiro
31: Antonio Sabato, Jr., Sadie Robertson
30: Jonathan Bennett
28: Randy Couture, Tavis Smiley, Betsey Johnson, Tommy Chong
24: Michael Waltrip

For the encore dance, viewers get to tweet about whether we want to see Lea or Janel. Since those were my top two picks, I wholeheartedly agree.

THE RESULTS, PART 1

Looking back, it’s funny that Randy was so disappointed with all 7s while it was the best news ever for Betsey.

Lea Thompson and Artem Chigvintsev are…SAFE!
Randy Couture and Karina Smirnoff are…SAFE!
Betsey Johnson and Tony Dovolani are…SAFE!

Wow, good news all around. That’s two of the 28s safe, which should be bad for Michael, Tavis and Tommy. Heck, maybe we’ll even go higher on the list with trouble for Jonathan and Antonio.

THE RESULTS, PART 2

There’s a performance by Nico and Vinz, accompanied by a routine of Karina and Peta fighting over Val. Then Erin Andrews interviews some of the guys, with Tommy asking her to touch his boob. He truly is the male Cloris Leachman.

Tommy Chong and Peta Murgatroyd are…SAFE!
Michael Waltrip and Emma Slater are…IN JEOPARDY!
Jonathan Bennett and Allison Holker are…SAFE!

Whew, I was worried for Jonathan. But this means four of the six lowest scores are now safe, which probably means a surprise jeopardy.

Encore Dance: Janel and Val win, probably because Twitter voting automatically gave the Pretty Little Liars star a huge advantage. She’s definitely going to keep getting better as the weeks go on.

THE RESULTS, PART 3

It’s time for the three young ladies, accompanied by the three biggest male pros.

Janel Parrish and Val Chmerkovskiy…SAFE!
Bethany Mota and Derek Hough are…SAFE!
Sadie Robertson and Mark Ballas are…IN JEOPARDY!

Yikes, what happened to all of those Southern voters? The NASCAR dude and the Duck Dynasty gal are both in jeopardy? Maybe they were all busy watching The Voice, The Big Bang Theory or Gotham last night. On the bright side, Michael and Sadie were the bottom two dancers on my performance rankings, so I’m feeling better about my judgments.

Sia sings while Allison dances with some girl from Dance Moms. It’s an amazing routine, especially since this girl is only 11. But this had better not foreshadow the return of Abby Lee Miller as a guest judge.

Guest Judges: Len Goodman is taking a few weeks off to focus on Strictly Come Dancing in England. Next week for Movie Night, Kevin Hart will be the guest judge. Why? There’s also a trailer for next week, and Lea is doing Back to the Future! GREAT SCOT!

Audition Tape: Once again, we get to vote to see a pro’s audition tape. No surprise, Derek won last week and now Mark wins. He was a cute little bad boy seven years ago.

THE RESULTS, PART 4

After Julianne Hough dances with the male pros (it’s always uncomfortable watching her with Derek on the dance floor), it’s time for the final three to get their results.

Alfonso Ribeiro and Witney Carson are…SAFE!
Tavis Smiley and Sharna Burgess are…IN JEOPARDY!
Antonio Sabato, Jr. and Cheryl Burke are…SAFE!

No surprises there. It’s definitely a battle between Tavis and Michael.

THE FINAL RESULTS

Sadie and Mark are…SAFE!

I guess they got the Lea Thompson vote-boosting spot this week.

Tavis Smiley and Sharna Burgess ARE ELIMINATED!

Aww, I’m disappointed that Michael is still here. Tavis knows that the lack of rehearsal time hurt him. I liked him last week, but I did predict him to be eliminated first since I had no idea who he was, so I guess that played a factor.

I also feel badly for Sharna, who was eliminated first in season 17 and now she’s been eliminated second. Even with Charlie White she couldn’t finish in the Top 4 and, other than Tristan MacManus, she’s the only pro to fail to reach the Final 4 in any of her first four seasons.

Next week is Move Night with Kevin Hart and there are no more Tuesday results shows. Good, at least I get one Tuesday off before Supernatural returns on the CW.
