Maybe being involved in accidents is all part of the rock star life, because Bret Michaels can’t seem to get enough of them.  After suffering from facial injuries during this year’s Tony Awards, the Rock of Love star tempted fate once again.  It was another unlucky break for him this Fourth of July weekend, when his tour bus was hit by a car in Canada.

Bret Michaels’ broken nose and bloody lip probably haven’t healed yet, so this is an unfortunate turn of events for him.  According to his official website, a car lost control and hit the star’s bus while he and his crew were on their way to St. Paul, Minnesota.  They had just come from a performance at Toronto’s Molson Amphitheater and were headed for another gig.

“His bus was involved in a multi-vehicle accident on the Canadian side of the border,” revealed Bret Michaels’ site.  “Police reports indicate a car lost control and slid into the side of Mr. Michaels’s tour bus causing a five car pile-up on the roadway.”

There were no people injured during the event, but it was said that “there was damage to all vehicles involved.”  Bret and his companions were soon released from the scene, right after the authorities performed an investigation on the incident.

At the time, the Rock of Love reality star was supposedly making his way to the “Taste of Minnesota” music festival with his solo band.  Since he hasn’t been experiencing any problems with his faculties, he’ll soon be rejoining Poison on their tour.

While he didn’t file a lawsuit against that incident of his during the Tonys, it seems like he really  has to do something about this car crash.  So much for Independence Day, but at least the accident didn’t leave even more fractures on his rock star face.  Lucky for Bret there were no misplaced sceneries ready to fall on him the time.
