The mysterious origami cranes that Michael has sent Sara have been puzzling fans as well as Sara herself. The paper cranes each appear to contain a phone number as well as a row of dots.
Members of a MySpace Prison Break group reported to E!Online’s Kristin that they had decoded the message – while it does involve telephones, it is not a phone number. The dots signify which letter on the telephone keypad each number represents – the first crane thus spells out “Rendezvous.” The second message spells out “Sundown Hot.” The group claims to have located the third set of numbers, and that it spells “elgilanm,” making the entire message “Rendezvous, Sundown Hotel, Gila, NM.”
Now, if only Sara has the sense to ask for help from internet fans, she might figure it out too!
