Similar to its predecessor Bachelor Pad, Bachelor in Paradise features past contestants from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette as they attempt to look for love in an island but without the game element or a cash prize.
In the first season, a total of 25 contestants graced Bachelor in Paradise though only two couples chose to stay together in the finale. Michelle Money and Cody Sattler exchanged roses and decided to continue dating after the show while Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul ended up getting engaged, just as it was previously rumored.

The sophomore season of Bachelor in Paradise is expected to run sometime next summer but some fans are already picking out their dream cast for next season, including host Chris Harrison.
“If he’s still single I’d like to see Brooks back for longer,” Harrison told TV Guide. “I think he’s a sincere, good guy and I think fans would like to see him give it a shot. We were a little bit selfish in our casting with people like Jackie and Lacy who were people we really liked, but for some reason fell through the cracks and we thought they’d go far in the show and didn’t. I like the fact that we can take people we like and give them another shot.”
