America’s Next Top Model Cycle 11 Makeover Gallery

Fourteen fresh faced, aspiring models will compete on the 11th cycle of America’s Next Top Model, premiering next week on the CW network. The girls will compete for the grand prize: management by Elite Model Management, a $100,000 contract with CoverGirl, and a photo on the cover and six-page fashion spread in Seventeen magazine. Among the crop of young hopefuls is a transgendered model named Isis who was discovered by Tyra last season after she appeared in a photo shoot, in the background, raising awareness about homelessness. So much of the attention has been on Isis in the last few weeks that people can forget that there will be 13 other girls competing this season. I’ve got no Isis news for you but with two new preview clips hitting the internet this week, read on to find out the dirt on Top Model’s cycle 11 premiere.

Nobody knows how to party on a bus or in a limo like Top Model girls. There’s dancing, laughter, yelling, and all sorts of chaos when the girls first arrive as semifinalists on the show. Hannah hasn’t seen anything like these Top Model girls back where she’s from – Fairbanks, Alaska. She makes a point, in the season premiere, to say they don’t even have freeways where she’s from. On the bus, Sheena points out to the group that she’s not your typical Asian-American female. She may appear timid and shy on the outside but underneath that innocent exterior is a tough talking Harlem girl. Both Hannah and Sheena, who come from such different worlds, make the final cut and head on to the main competition this season.

Last season, the models attended Top Model Academy where they went through extensive runway and posing training. This season, the girls meet up with Miss Jay (in a scary white bob) at the Top Model Institute of Technology. Just when you thought Miss Jay’s hair was scary enough, please let me draw your attention to Mister Jay Manuel’s hairdo for cycle 11. These two are supposed to be fashion experts, right? Jay Manuel has let his white hair grow up Lorenzo Lamas style and honey, is he in need of a makeover! The point of the Top Model Institute is to make the girls better models but I think the Jays are the ones in need of help!

Tune in to a new season of America’s Next Top Model when cycle 11 premieres with a special 2 hour episode on Wednesday, September 3, at 8pm ET.
