A new series will invade ABC’s fall lineup and it comes in the form of Cavemen. Based on the GEICO Cavemen advertisements for the American auto insurance company GEICO, the said pilot follows three cavemen trying to live normal lives in Atlanta, Georgia while struggling with discrimination in the modern world.

Cavemen features Joel, his younger brother Jaime and his best friend Nick as three cavemen living in modern-day Atlanta. Throughout the series, the cavemen endure the present-day society as they struggle to overcome their physical appearance and stereotypes.

Bill English stars as Joel. English is most notable for playing “Johnson” on the TV commercial for Kellogg’s Raisin Bran Crunch. As an actor, he has appeared on The Pavement and The Beach Party at the Threshold of Hell.

Dash Mihok stars as Jamie. This 33-year old actor is best known for films like The Day After Tomorrow, The Perfect Storm, The Red Thin Line, Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang, and Hustle.

Nick Kroll stars as Nick. Kroll has worked on shows like Things I Hate About You, Upright Citizens Brigade, and Samurai Love.

Kaitlin Doubleday stars as Kate. She has previously appeared on Accepted, Home of Phobia, Justice, and Strong Medicine and in the film Catch Me If You Can.

John Heard stars as Trip. This 62-year old actor is best known for his role in the movie Home Alone. He has also guest starred in numerous television series like Twenty Questions, The Sopranos, and Word of Honor.

Stephanie Lemelin stars as Thorne. Her acting credits include The 40 Year Old Virgin, Late Summer, and Out of Practice just to name a few.

Distributed by ABC Television Studio, Cavemen will be taking the Tuesday niche at 8/7C this fall.
