But that wasn’t the worst of Nick’s time on the reunion show–oh no, he had to share a song with the world that the Ikki Twins had inspired. If you ear drums were lucky enough to miss Nick’s karaoke date with the twins, you might not realize this “singer-song writer” is actually tone deaf. Seriously, some of the bad auditions on American Idol are better than Nick. As he proved last night with his Ikki-inspired song, Nick’s song-writing skills are about par with his singing voice. Nick’s lyrics are very similar to that of a depressed 12-year old girl writing really really bad poetry. Luckily, Scottie was looking out for everyone’s best interest–he stormed the stage in the midst of Nick’s ‘song’ and grabbed the keyboard and smashed it to the ground. If I could reach through the television and kiss Scottie, I would.

Speaking of Jersey boy Scottie, he’s shown up to the reunion in a full on fur coat and with the MTV logo shaved into his faux-hawk fade. Thank goodness we can always count on Scottie for entertainment, I wouldn’t be surprised if this gregarious guy gets his own MTV dating show. I can see it now “A Shot at Jersey Loving,” it could be huge.

Despite the promise of drama between former kissing buddies Rosie and Josh, the rest of the reunion show is a snooze fest. All Josh can muster is “I’m sorry”, while Rosie can barely get a word out of her newly overly plumped lips. Rikki has some choice words for Josh, but we don’t get to hear most of them since her tirade is basically one long censor beep. The only other interesting thing we learn during the reunion is that despite being on a bisexual dating show, Xoe has still not come out to her Dad.

For a reunion show we were hoping would be filled with drama and explosive revelations, the Double Shot At Love reunion felt more like a hang-over and less like a happy hour.
