We all know how funny new mom and recent fashion icon Nicole Richie can be. On The Simple Life, her show with fellow socialite and former BFF Paris Hilton, Richie is often the hilarious one, breaking the rules and taking pleasure in seeing people's reaction when she says or does something totally outrageous.
Such comedic abilities will be put to test when Richie guest-stars in the NBC comedy Chuck as super agent Sarah Walker's (played by Yvonne Strahovski) high school nemesis who will make a grand and perhaps unwelcome return in her life on their 10 year high school reunion.

If you thought MTV had hit rock bottom, you were wrong. Sure, their phalanx of dating shows over the past few years have been an embarrassing reminder of just how low and shameless the once proud and edgy network has become. But, it wasn't until today that MTV officially scraped the bottom of the barrel. It has careened into the abyss, tossing off any semblance of self-respect and embracing the potential commercial merits of pure, unadulterated evil. If you haven't guessed already, MTV has ordered ten episodes of a Paris Hilton reality series, tentatively titled Paris Hilton's My New BFF. On the show, wannabe sycophants will compete in a series of competitions in order to become Paris Hilton's new best friend forever.

Nicole Richie might find herself in the same boat as her The Simple Life co-star and BFF, Paris Hilton.
Police have stated that when they pulled Richie over last year, the 25 year-old was under the influence of alcohol and some unnamed drug. In February, she was charged with a DUI, and during an interview with Ryan Seacrest on the latter’s radio show, Richie said that she is ready to assume responsibility for her actions and to face “whatever consequences” they may bring.

Hotel heiress Paris Hilton has only been incarcerated for less than a week, but already numerous tabloids have attempted to get their hands on the first pictures of The Simple Life actress in jail. The tabloids are willing to give as much as $500,000 for the pictures, a price that they hope will encourage those working within the Los Angeles’ Century Regional Detention Center to put their cameras to good use.
Hilton had the option of going to a pay jail, where she would have received more privacy, but refused to do so, claiming, “The media portrays me in a way that I'm not and that's why I wanted to go to county, to show that I can do it and I'm going to be treated like everyone else. I'm going to do the time, I'm going to do it the right way." Hours before she turned herself in at the Men’s Central Jail in downtown, Los Angeles, Hilton was seen savoring some last moments of freedom, including a making an appearance at the 2007 MTV Movie Awards.
