The Pussycat Dolls to Perform on 'The Hills' Finale

Tonight marks the much awaited fourth season ender of The Hills.  To celebrate the conclusion, MTV is throwing the ultimate finale event entitled “The Hills Finale Live from NYC” kicking off at 8pm ET/PT.  Hosted by MTV News' Tim Kash, the pre-show will feature the entire cast as they walk down the red carpet, join fans live from the Tavern On The Green in New York City and catch up on the latest drama as the network re-airs the last three episodes of the season.

After getting the inside scoop on The Hills, fans can finally enjoy the fourth season finale at 10pm ET/PT. As reported previously, Lauren and Heidi are expected to have a run-in which leads them to put their feud aside and remember why they used to be friends.  Meanwhile, Spencer and Heidi deal with the fallout of their elopement when Heidis mother comes to town, and Justin surprises Audrina when he whisks her away to Palm Springs for his own surprise.

It seems that Tiffanie Anderson, Natalie Mejia, Nichole Cordova, Chrystina Sayers are gradually losing their touch.  The girls, who were discovered on the reality series The Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious, continues to uphold their title with their energetic performance and eye-catching choice of clothing but has failed to prove themselves anything more than another manufactured pop flash-in-the-pan, according to The Star Phoenix.

Alexis Pelekanos was one of the 15 young women competing on the Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious for one of the slots open for the pop girl group.  However, she was eliminated on the competitive series by third episode for “not standing out enough.”  Nevertheless, she lingers on the spotlight as this month's Miss Howard TV for Howard Stern's Howard TV On Demand.

“He was so nice to me and [said] that it was nice to have a change of pace with someone who had beauty and brains,” Alexis said of Howard Stern.

Pussycat Dolls Fail to Dominate Second Album?

Four years ago, the Pussycat Dolls entered the music scene with an extremely popular album that had mainstream success thanks to multiple hits like "Don't Cha" and "Buttons.”  The group, consisting of Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta, Melody Thornton and Kimberly Wyatt, hopes to dominate competition that has sprung up in their absence with their sophomore effort “Doll Domination.”  Unfortunately, their new release doesn't have quite the same appeal of its predecessor, according to several reviews.

“Doll Domination” was released on September 23. The first single from the album, "When I Grow Up" peaked at number 9 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart, and peak at number 2 in Australia.

Pussycat Dolls Identify with Gay Fans

The Pussycat Dolls has reached unprecedented success with over 7 million records sold, five hit singles worldwide and two world tours.  As a result, the burlesque troupe, which presently consists of Nicole Scherzinger, Melody Thornton, Jessica Sutta, Ashley Roberts, Kimberly Wyatt, has attracted fans from all walks of life.  But according to Thornton, gay fans are the most devoted.

“I have to tell you that the gay boys are the ones that are willing to go the distance!  They sleep outside the hotels… they're definitely the most devoted and supportive,” Melody Thornton told gaywired.com.

Pussycat Dolls Want to Go Solo

What started out as a burlesque troupe based in Los Angeles has eventually evolved into the dance ensemble we now know as the Pussycat Dolls.  With over 7 million records sold, five hit singles worldwide and two world tours, the group, founded by choreographer Robin Antin, has certainly gone on to international commercial success.  Soon, however, fans must face the fact that Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta, Melody Thornton, and Kimberly Wyatt will eventually go their separate ways.

“It's what we've been waiting for,” Kimberly Wyatt told Blender Magzine.  “We all want individual success.”
