The year is almost over, and BuddyTV wants to know which shows were your absolute favorites from 2008. In case you haven't heard, Rob McElhenney (Mac), Glenn Howerton (Dennis R. Reynolds), and Charlie Day (Charlie Kelly), the boys of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, are currently working on a new show called Boldly Going Nowhere which will air on FOX. However, they won't be starring in the comedy since they'll be serving as executive producers instead.

Boldly Going Nowhere will reportedly be a mix of comedy and sci-fi and will revolve around the day-to-day life of the captain of an intergalactic spaceship.  Adam Stein, a writer's assistant on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, came up with the original idea and will share a created-by credit, though McElhenney, Howerton, and Day will do much of the writing.  The pilot was shot in October and, so far, FOX has ordered five additional episodes.

With the fourth season of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia wrapping up, one can hear the chorus of fans screaming their lungs out for more.  Tonight marks the finale of another humorously antagonistic run of the series, as the gang is back with “The Nightman Cometh.” 

Tonight, Charlie (Charlie Day) once again manifests his skills as he rounds up everyone for a little artful scheme.  He's written a musical based on his song, “Nightman” and he wants to organize a rock and roll opera for a night.  There's sure to be a lot of snickers seeing the troupe in costumes and belting out tunes.  But then again, this is nothing new on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

On tonight’s It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, the gang decides to fool history in exchange for a little recognition.  After being saved from a heart attack last week, Dee and the rest of the cast go their own way to save the unsuccessful Paddy’s Pub. 

“The Gang Cracks the Liberty Bell” has the gang bluffing to the Philadelphia Historical society.  Wanting to get Paddy’s Pub labeled as a historical landmark, they claim that the place was responsible for cracking the famous Liberty Bell.  It’s only a matter of time until everyone finds out if it’s true.
