'New York Goes to Work' Premieres Tonight

May 3, 2009

Love her or hate her, there's no denying that Tiffany Pollard - New York in reality show parlance - has a big personality, and she returns to VH1 tonight with a follow-up to New York Goes to Hollywood.

Sort of resembling Paris Hilton's The Simple Life, New York Goes to Work premieres tonight on VH1. It follows the diminutive reality starlet as she tries to find a regular job.  The show promises to be very interactive, as the jobs will be selected by fans via text messaging from a list of three possible jobs. If she is able to impress her employer, she will receive a $10,000 bonus each week; she receives nothing, except perhaps public ridicule (but what is new?), if she either quits, fails, or gets fired.
