What the Frock, Jennifer Aniston?

June 15, 2009

Welcome, once again, to "What the Frock?" where we question the stylistic sanity of our favorite TV actresses.

Today, we're catching up with the ever adorable Jennifer Aniston, who was at the Women in Film Festival this weekend, looking fit, tan, and toned as as hell. Per usual. Thanks to whatever 50+ hours per week pilates regimen she's on, and those miraculous genes she's been blessed with, and probably some sort of fancy diet where all she eats is celery and a smoothie made of pure alpha hydroxy, this woman is impervious to that thing called "Aging."

Unfortunately, the dress she chose for this occasion is not impervious to those things called "Wrinkles."

Owen Wilson and 'Friends' Alum Get Caught in Awkward Interview

December 24, 2008

Former Friends actress Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson are currently promoting their new movie Marley & Me.  With interviews here and there, it's inevitable for the media to dig up some of their highly publicized problems in the past few years. Aniston with her breakup from Brad Pitt and Vince Vaughn, and Wilson with his reported suicide attempt last year. Evidently, the wounds are still fresh for both celebrities and the hype surrounding them is understandably not appreciated.

When asked how challenging it is to promote Marley & Me when the public seems to be so curious about their own lives, Aniston didn't think twice about giving her true sentiments.

Top 15 Places to Eat on TV: #14 Central Perk, 'Friends'

November 7, 2008

BuddyTV picks the top 15 places to grab a bite with our favorite TV restaurants.

Central Perk seems like a fun place to hang out and get some coffee and a muffin, but if you want a good seat, you have to get there early. Sometimes it seems like every single day the same six people always monopolize the couch, taking up a ton of space without even ordering anything.

Jennifer Aniston Returns to NBC on '30 Rock'

September 1, 2008

Fans are already awaiting the upcoming third season of 30 Rock, which hits NBC beginning October 30th at 9:30pm.  The Golden Globe, Emmy Award WGA and TCA Award-reaping comedy series is now in its third year, and has set the record for having the most program nominations for a comedy series in a single awards year.  The fact that the Emmys have a guest actor and actress category helped in reaping in the awards, as the show managed to land seven out of the 11 nomination spots.

Nonetheless, 30 Rock executive producer Marci Klein says that it’s the brilliant writers behind the show that should be given credit for coming up with the content and the faces to play the characters they’ve written.  She adds, “Tina (Fey) is really brilliant -- as well as Robert (Carlock) and John Riggi, all the writers there. They're all really good at writing for someone's voice. If that person reads the script, it's obvious they would want to do it because it's just written for them.”

Scrubs: After Michael J. Fox, It's Courtney Cox

July 10, 2008

After rumors that Michael J. Fox is in talks with Scrubs creator Bill Lawrence to reprise his role on the ABC comedy, another face fans are very familiar with is joining the fun at Sacred Heart.  Entertainment Weekly reports that Friends alumna Courtney Cox is joining the cast of Scrubs for a three-episode arc.  She will supposedly play as Sacred Heart's new Chief of Medicine, a role which, according to the insider, will “ruffle feathers.”

Meanwhile, this is certainly news for Cox after Dirt was canceled after two seasons due to negative reviews.  Fans have already commented on the soundness of this move for Cox, as it will allow her to showcase what she is best known for: comedy.
