A two-hour rain delay pushed Game 4 of the American League Championship Series into primetime territory, and has forced Fox to pull The X Factor from tonight's schedule.

By 8pm, the time The X Factor was supposed to start on the East Coast, the game between the Detriot Tigers and the Texas Rangers was only in its fifth inning. The episode will not air tonight on the West Coast, either.

If rain doesn't interfere with tomorrow's Game 5, tonight's scheduled X Factor telecast will air tomorrow, Thursday October 13, from 8 to 10pm (at which time you can watch Rihanna's exciting guest appearance), and Thursday's scheduled episode will air Sunday night at the same time. Unless Game 7 gets in the way.

Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.

The lesson? Not even Simon Cowell can compete with America's favorite pastime. Or the weather.
