Television personality Andy Cohen, has put at least one rumor to rest regarding the future of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

As far as casting goes, Jersey Shore alumni, Nicole “Snookie” Polizzi, will not be tapped to fill Giudice’s, or anyone else’s high-priced shoes. A recent story in Life&Style claimed that Snookie was waging a serious campaign to capture Bravo execs’ attention, “She just changed her whole media team. She’s gearing up for a change in her career, and being on Housewives makes sense for her.”

Cohen’s response to this rumor was a simple tweet, “She ain’t joining.”

Real Housewives of New Jersey fans must have let out a collective sight of relief when Polizzi herself tweeted, “I’m NOT trying to get on nj housewives like magazines are stating.”

Cohen rivals any politician when it comes to the art of speaking without saying anything. US Weekly caught up with the Watch What Happens Live host at a recent charity function and tried to get the inside scoop regarding the future of RHONJ, “It’s a big franchise for Bravo, and I think whatever we do, we’re going to do it the right way, so we’re still figuring that out right now” Cohen said.

So while it looks like Bravo doesn’t want this ship to go down with its felonious captain, nothing is certain. Even Cohen stated “Anything is possible.”

When asked if there was the possibility of including Giudice during season 7 while she serves her time in the federal prison in Danbury, Cohen stated, “”I don’t know the specifics of what they allow, but I can’t see them allowing [us to film people visiting her in prison].” I think we can safely take that as a no.
