Last week, rumors were spreading that Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Adrienne Maloof would not be returning for season 4. Now, not only has she confirmed that she is taking her leave, she quit by ditching the season 3 reunion.

“To my loyal fans … It was time to exit RHOBH,” Adrienne wrote on her website. “The show served as a wonderful platform for all the amazing projects that I have in the works. I am forever grateful to my fans, thank you for your support, and stay tuned!”

But according to TMZ, Adrienne’s exit caused some tension with Bravo, especially after she refused to go to the taping of the reunion show last weekend.

The excuse she used to miss the usually essential reunion is that she and her now ex-husband, Paul Nassif, signed a restraining order as part of their divorce agreement, prohibiting either one of them from talking publicly about one another or their children. In the specific case of the reunion, she didn’t want to hear the other castmates talk about her or her family situation without being able to defend herself.

Adrienne seems very happy with her decision to cut ties with the show. She told TMZ yesterday that leaving the show was a “big relief” and that now she can “sleep well at night.”

However, it seems like Adrienne isn’t leaving quietly. Another article from TMZ claims that Adrienne, along with Camille Grammer (who is also leaving the show without attending the reunion), are trying to get other affluent women in Beverly Hills to boycott appearing on the show. The reason they are discouraging other women to join is because “cast members can say anything about anyone on the show and get away with it, even if it’s inaccurate and malicious” and that could severely damage their reputation.

“It’s fine if Brandi Glanville does the show,” an inside source said. “She doesn’t have anything going for her and the show makes her famous. But for someone who has a real business or career outside the show, they need to stay a mile away.”

And it’s not just the show Adrienne has a personal vendetta against. She’s even planning to open a new restaurant in the same neighborhood as Lisa Vanderpump’s Villa Blanca to steal business from her rival castmate. Yikes. Stay pressed, Adrienne.
