DeShawn Snow may not have created enough drama on The Real Housewives of Atlanta for being “too human for a circus show” but that doesn’t mean she’s leaving the reality TV circuit for good. At present, she’s pitching in a new series called Second Chance, which is “kind of like Top Model meets Charm School.”

“We really want to give them a chance and the people we are looking for [on Second Chance] are people who have been given up on or they have given up on themselves, they had children at a young age or they were on drugs, whatever, because you can really turn your life around,” Snow told OK! Magazine.

I’m curious to see how this will all turn out since it’s hard to imagine Bravo giving Snow another chance after seeing her pretty dull personality on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, compared to her co-stars NeNe Leakes, Lisa Wu Hartwell, Sheree Whitfield and Kim Zolciak. Snow, who is also taking graduate classes at Regent University and working on a children’s animated series tentatively called Little Shawnie, doesn’t really strike me as someone who would pull someone’s hair or turn a table upside down — which is the kind of stuff networks like Bravo are really into. On the other hand, Snow acknowledges this fact and it looks like she’s already learned her lesson.

“Not everybody has as big a personality as NeNe (Leakes),” Snow said. “I thought I provided the balance. Not everybody’s up here and not everybody’s down here. I thought it was a good mix but I understand you need drama. I learned about the reality TV world with how the film crew follows you. And I learned about the power of editing. That’s why I want to have creative control, because everything is entertainment.”
