Former So You Think You Can Dance judge (at least for the American version) Mia Michaels was rushed to the hospital after choreographing a routine for the finale of the Canadian version of the show.

The show’s executive producer, Sandra Faire, confirmed that Michaels seriously hurt her back and was rushed to Toronto Western Hospital last Saturday night.  Doctors say she probably has a herniated disc or a seriously pinched nerve.

She was released from the hospital the following morning, but Faire says Michaels has to rest for a few days before she returns to her home in Los Angeles.

She wasn’t the only one injured on that finale: the show’s eventual champion, Tara-Jean Popowich, had two displaced ribs going into the finale.  Well, fingers crossed they’re both doing fine now.
