Sleep Hollow debuted to strong numbers for its series premiere earlier in the week, and now we know that John Noble will be joining the FOX drama. Taye Diggs is getting ready to guest star on New Girl. And Susan Sarandon will be showing up on Mike and Molly. Read on for all the details, as well as casting announcements for The Blacklist, The Good Wife, CSI, Modern Family, The Walking Dead and The Crazy Ones.

John Noble brings his supernatural powers to Sleepy Hollow: The Fringe star isn't just popping up for a guest spot; rather, he's joining the show in a recurring role as a recluse named Henry Parrish, who has supernatural powers and just might be able to help out Ichabod Crane. His first episode won't be until later on in the first season, according to Deadline.

Also joining Sleepy Hollow is James Frain: he'll be in multiple episodes, though as a guest star, as Rutledge, who has a secret and gets the chance to interrogate Ichabod -- but get this, the latter will be trying to pass as a "visiting Oxford professor," according to TVLine.

Taye Diggs is a bachelor on New Girl: The former Private Practice star is guest starring on an episode this fall. He's playing Artie, a "self-assured ladies' man," notes Entertainment Weekly; while at a bar, he'll meet Jess and Cece when Nick goes out for a guys' night.

Susan Sarandon will play an author on Mike and Molly: The Oscar-winning actress' character is JC Small, a novelist who not only is Molly's idol, but will also give her a memorable writing lesson. Producers are saying she is "part JD Salinger with a touch William Faulkner and a sprinkle of Gore Vidal," reports TVLine. Sarandon tweeted, "So excited to be working with Melissa McCarthy again, this time on Mike and Molly. But why am I always playing an alcoholic?"

Nathan Lane returning to The Good Wife: If you liked him on the CBS drama before, get ready because he's back as Clarke Hayden in episode 7 of the new season, according to TV Guide. This time around, he's helping Alicia and Cary while they start the process of opening up their very own firm.

Robert Knepper is being pursued by the FBI on The Blacklist: The actor, who was on Prison Break, will guest star in episode 5 of the new James Spader drama as a target of the FBI. Other guests in the first season include Isabella Rossellini, Tom Noonan, Jane Alexander and Clifton Collins. One of the cast members, Diego Klattenhoff, told TVLine, "We've had some real kick-ass people come on. Everybody's really responding to the material. It's so well-crafted and smart."

Lea Thompson to guest star on CSI: TV Guide is reporting that the Switched at Birth actress, who you may also know from Caroline in the City and Back to the Future, will appear in an episode set to air in November. Her character is a defense criminalist who comes from Detroit, and she's very familiar with crime scenes from working over there. She and Elisabeth Shue's Finlay will share a lot of scenes together.

Dana Powell is Cam's sister on Modern Family: The Tucker family is expanding as viewers will meet Cam's sibling during season 5. TVLine mentions that she's sassy, and executive producer Christopher Lloyd said she's "colorful and believable," and the two have "a little bit of a competitive relationship.

Christian Serratos is a survivor on The Walking Dead: She played Angela, a friend of Bella's, in the Twilight Saga movies, and now she's moving on to the AMC zombie drama as Rosita Espinosa, who's described as both tough and beautiful, and Deadline notes that she made it through the undead apocalypse. She's set to recur during season 4, but may be a regular for season 5 if all goes well. And for those who are familiar with the comic book series, readers first meet this character in issue 53.

Brad Garrett to work with Robin Williams on The Crazy Ones: The Everybody Loves Raymond star has been cast as the Lewis in Lewis, Roberts & Roberts, the advertising agency that Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar's characters work at. He's set to guest star in a minimum of two episodes, staring sometime this fall, according to EW.
