Last month, we reported that Robin Antin’s new girl group, Girlicious, which was formed on the reality series Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious, has been busy promoting their new singles.  We also mentioned that the pop ensemble will be serving as opening act for the Backstreet Boys’ “Unbreakable Tour.”

In an interview with New Brunswick’s Urban Voice, Girlicious member Chrystina Sayers talks about how her group will rock the crowd.

“I think everyone will be surprised at our performance because we’re doing six numbers back-to-back and most of the songs people haven’t heard yet,” Sayers said.  “It’s made up of two slow songs and four fast ones, including our new single ‘Stupid Sh*t.'”

The “Unbreakable Tour” marks Girlicious’ first tour since their group was formed on Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious and the girls, which also includes Nichole Cordova, Tiffanie Anderson and Natalie Mejia, are all looking forward to tour with the Backstreet Boys.

“They were the ‘In the heat of the moment boy band’,” Sayer said.  “We grew up listening to them and N’Sync, so it’s crazy that we’re even going to be touring with them.”

After dealing with all the craziness and drama on Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious, Sayer reveals that the girls have learned to put their difference aside and bond like sisters.

“We’re all very good friends,” Sayer said.  “Of course we have our bickering, but when we have a problem with each other we get it out and resolve it right away.  Most importantly we have lots of fun with each other.  We’re all pretty much the same type of girl so we have a lot in common.”

“I want us to be one of those groups to have longevity and break lots of records,” she added.  “I believe we’ll be a dominating girl group someday.
