Project Runway All-Stars
kicks off January 5. Here, we refresh our memories about the designers who've set their sights on another shot at fashion glory. Rami Kashou, runner-up to season winner Christian Siriano, is back to try his luck on
Project Runway: All-
Stars. Will the styles that have donned celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez, Dita Von Teese and even Her
Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan be enough to finally clench the winning spot on the runway?
Well one
would certainly think so. Rami can definitely drape fabric of various eye-catching colors and textures
along a woman's body like none other.

Project Runway History
Rami Kashou started
Project Runway season 4 off with a bang, winning the first challenge and
establishing his signature design of the Grecian-style drape dress. He went on to win one other
challenge before taking his final collection to the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York. Here's a
look at some of Rami's memorable work from the season:

Post-Project Runway
Rami Kashou has been quite busy since competing on
Project Runway. From promotion rounds
on television shows
The Tyra Banks Show in 2007 and
Live with Regis and Kelly in 2008, to dressing
celebrities for red carpet events, Rami has definitely proven that runner-up is no small achievement.
His Spring/Summer 2010 collection consists of black and white variation dresses that create the perfect
hourglass shape that women crave.

In July of 2010, Rami Kashou
was assaulted at West Hollywood's The Abbey restaurant
by the jerk of the year, a man named Arturo Trejo-Perez. After recognizing Rami from
Project Runway, Trejo-Perez
confronted him and reportedly said, "Did you even f**king win? [....] You are nothing but a lowlife has-been reality show loser," and then poured a bottle of beer on Kashou and smashed the bottle in his face. Kashou reportedly sued the man and restaurant for more than $25,000 in damages.
Rami Kashou definitely has lots to be proud of since leaving
Project Runway. With the added credentials
and celebrity clientele, the other designers may need to keep an eye out for this one. Watch this season
