As we reported previously, fans will be getting the scoop on the relationship of Tiffany Pollard, also known as New York, and I Love New York season 2 winner Tailor Made when the spin-off series New York Goes to Hollywood premieres on August 4.  However, it looks like fans don’t have to wait for much longer.  According to MediaTakeOut.com, the relationship is officially over for the two reality star struck lovers.

After being dumped by I Love New York first season winner Tango, and twice before that by Flavor Flav on the reality dating series Flavor of Love, New York found love in Tailor Made, a contestant whom she picked in the finale of I Love New York 2.  Tailor Made proposed to New York but was turned down until she finally accepted his second proposal during the reunion special.

Since then, the couple has been tight-lipped about the real status of their relationship.  And though New York’s new series, New York Goes to Hollywood, will follow her as she “put her last conquest, Tailor Made, on the backburner as she tries to take on Tinsel Town,” nothing has been revealed about a breakup until now.

“New York broke it with a level of cruelty that only New York can give – and [Tailor Made] didn’t take it well … we were actually worried about him,” a VH1 insider revealed.

Of course, this kind of fiasco fits in quite perfectly with VH1 as the network got the whole squabble on tape.

“It was very compelling video – so of course it will be included on New York Goes to Hollywood,” the insider added.

Now that New York is officially single again, she’s ready to tackle her dream of becoming a superstar.  Is there life beyond reality TV for New York?  Find out on New York Goes to Hollywood on VH1.
