The Nashville winter finale was full of personal dramas for the characters. New loves were blossoming, while old ones were crumbling. We’ll have to wait until January to find out what comes next, but in the meantime, we can enjoy the musical performances from “Where He Leads Me.”

Scarlett and Gunnar wrote a song that was touching and representative of his feelings for her. It was heartbreaking to see Scarlett push him away. Fingers crossed she comes to here senses and recognizes what an amazing guy he is and that they can be together and make beautiful music.

Gunnar’s “When the Right One Comes Around”

Juliette headed to church and met Sean’s family. I don’t think she’s ever been happier than we saw her on that particular day. Sean has brought a normalcy and joy to Juliette’s life. She expressed herself by singing at church with the choir. It’s a beautiful rendition.

Juliette’s “For Your Glory”

An important music producer stopped by to watch and listen to Avery and his band perform. It was a success and Avery was invited to Atlanta to work with him. It wasn’t all roses though, as Avery will have to decide whether to ditch his long time friends to make the deal happen.

Avery’s “Peace in the Valley”

My favorite song of the night goes to Gunnar, though the duet version with Scarlett was even better. What was your favorite?

And if you missed it, ABC also released the duet between Rayna and Juliette.
