Moonlight

Thanks to CBS being high on a slew of new dramas in development, the fate of Moonlight remains uncertain. As the vampire detective series wraps up its pilot season, it's imperative that fans put up a bloody good fight and improve the ratings especially with season finale.  With any luck, CBS won't put a stake on Moonlight, and hopefully, the end is only the beginning.

Meanwhile, here are some spoilers for season ender of Moonlight.

“Sonata,” the 16th installment of the season, centers on a case that leads Mick (Alex O'Loughlin) and Beth (Sophia Myles) to a frat house at Hearst College.  Their investigation eventually points them to the direction of McGreevey University, where Ben Talbot is presently being honored for having contributed a lot of money to create a state of the art athletic facility called the Jason Talbot Memorial Hall.

Later, Mick and Josef (Jason Dohring) team up with other area vampires to protect their secret identities after a murder investigation, which involves a vampire killing a human in a moment of passion, threatens to expose them.  At the same time, Mick and Beth face the ultimate consequence of their relationship.

According to exec producers Gabrielle Stanton and Harry Werksman, fans can look forward to “some cool Mick-Beth-Josef relationship stuff in our season finale.  We're going to delve more deeply into the world of 'freshies' [humans who let vampires feed off them]."

Additionally, Beth is going “to see shocking side of Mick and be and be faced with some harsh realities about being in love with a vampire.”  On the other hand, fans shouldn't expect the intrepid couple to “close the door” on their future.

It has been an incredible first season so far, and from what have been hinted, the season finale seems to be the best episode yet.  Catch the conclusion of Moonlight this Friday at 9pm on CBS.
