The worst part of my job is that I can't be too selective in what I
read. Gawker has uncovered possible call sheets from the series finale
of Lost that detail several scenes being filmed for the series
. After reading them, I wish I hadn't, but since I work for a TV
website and write about Lost
, I don't have that luxury.
So I'll give you all fair warning. DO NOT continue reading if you don't
want to be spoiled. I consider this as important as the flash forwards
in the season 3 finale, so unless you want the experience tarnished,
stop reading now.
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.
Sure, it's a bit hypocritical of me to beg you to stop reading while publishing this news, but that's how the world works. And there are three possibilities for what this information means. It could be a hoax, in which case it's both elaborate and well-executed. It could also be intentional disinformation from Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse, in which case they are true geniuses. Or it's real, in which case I would like to find Gawker's anonymous "tipster" and punch him or her in the face for not immediately destroying the piece of paper upon its discovery.
Anyway, here are the call sheets.
As you can see, it seems there's a scene in the finale where Jack and Flocke lower Desmond down into a cavern beneath a waterfall. Jack gets down there too and there's a light and lots of smoke.
It's a bit unclear what it all means, but the phrase sure to jump out at you is "Jack in Hell." Is this literal? Allegorical? Just a nickname for something in the finale, like the frozen donkey wheel? It's anybody's guess, but it seems obvious that the secrets of the Island will definitely be revealed.
