Aside from successfully managing the High Voltage Tattoo studio in Los Angeles, California, Amber “Pixie” Acia aspires to establish her own group that would demonstrate the same kind of devotion she has showed for her pets over the years.

In an interview with celebritydogwatcher.com, the L.A. Ink star reveals that one of her fixations in life is to put up an animal rescue team and even hints that she’ll be shedding some light on her love for dogs in an upcoming episode of L.A. Ink.

“One of my passions is to someday open my own rescue group for homeless pit bulls.  My favorite groups are Villa Lobos pit bull Rescue and Karma Rescue and they’re both right here in Los Angeles…. I will even be appearing at Villa Lobos in an upcoming episode of L.A. Ink… I hope to bring a lot of attention to the sweet and innocent dogs who have been living without a family for so long,” Acia told celebritydogwatcher.com.

At present, Acia is the proud owner of two pit bulls named Cupcake and Chopper and a cat named Monkey.  Though she already endured much pain with the loss of a pet dog two years ago, she isn’t discouraged to open her heart again and shower the same kind of attention to her new favorite creatures.

“I have been a huge dog lover my whole life… I currently have two of the cutest Pit bull girls in the world!  Cupcake… she is my heart, I adopted her about two and a half years ago from Karma Rescue, right here in Los Angeles.  She was just a baby. She loves to play ball and loves even more when I bite on the side of her face!  Chopper… she is my soul.  My boyfriend rescued her from the streets of Hollywood when she was just a tiny peanut almost two years ago.  She loves to chase Cupcake, chase the ball and loves to pull me on the skateboard.  They live together in perfect harmony with my cat, Monkey.  They fill our house with so much love,” she said.

Catch Amber “Pixie” Acia and the rest of the gang on L.A. Ink every Tuesday at 10/9c on TLC.
